[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents not to open any TASMAC shop in Kirupananda Variyar Nagar, Deivakanni Street, Sundarrajapuram MGR Colony and Raja Nagar near Iravadanallur, Madurai District, by way of issuing a Writ of Mandamus.

2.Mr.B.Pugalenthi, learned Additional Advocate General, has taken notice for the respondents.

3.The learned Additional Advocate General has represented to the effect that due to agitation of the general public, the authorities have already closed the TASMAC shop in question and now made arrangements to shift the same to some other place. 4..Considering the representation made on the side of the respondents, the relief sought in the Writ Petition has become infructuous and therefore, the same deserves to be dismissed. 5.In fine, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is dismissed.
