Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to direct the Special Court for Trial cases registered under SC/ST POA Act Dindigul, Dindigul district to dispose the bail application filed by the petitioner on merits on the same day of his surrender before the above mentioned concerned court in pending investigation of Crime No. 172 of 2021 on the file of Inspector of Police, Sempatti Police Station, Dindigul district.

ORDER:- This Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr. S.Sarvagan Prabhu, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Mr. R.M.Anbunithi, Additional Public Prosecutor, for the respondents, this Court made the following order: 1/3

This petition has been filed to extend the time granted in the order dated 06.05.2021 made in Crl.O.P(MD) No.6550 of 2021, on the file of this Court.

2.Today, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that due to pandemic situation, the petitioner could not surrender before the concerned Court within the stipulated time prescribed by this Court and hence seek time to surrender.

3. Considering the request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, 15 days time is extended from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is ordered.
