PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 5 to distribute the unauthorized collection of money by the 7th respondent from the students to the same students by considering the petitioner's representations dated 26.06.2024, 09.07.2024 and 18.07.2024 by collecting the said amount from the respondents 7 and 8 within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The relief sought for in the present Writ proceedings is to direct the respondents 1 to 5 to distribute the unauthorized collection of money by the 7th 2/5

respondent from the students to the same students by considering the representations submitted by the petitioner.

2.The nature of the relief as such sought for in the present Writ Petition would not fall under the purview of Public Interest Litigation and a reading of the affidavit would show that the grievances are attempted to be redressed by instituting Public Interest Litigation, which cannot be entertained under Article 226 of Constitution of India. Therefore, granting liberty to the aggrieved person to approach the competent authority or the Court of law to redress the grievance in the manner known to law, this Writ Petition stands dismissed.
