RESPONDENT/RESPONDENT Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to pass an order by extending the time granted by this Honorable court by its order in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.6350 of 2019 dt 29/04/2019 for further period of two weeks.

Order :This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of MR.RADHAKRISHNAN.G, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.P.KOTTAI CHAMY, Government Advocate (Crl Side) on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to extend the time to comply with the condition imposed in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.6350 of 2019 dated 29.04.2019.

2. It appears that the petitioner has been granted anticipatory bail as early as on 29.04.2019 and after a period of two years, this application has been filed for extension of time, stating that due to the pandemic situation, the petitioner could not arrange the sureties. This Court is not satisfied with the reasons assigned in the petition. Therefore, this petition is dismissed, with liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh application for anticipatory bail, if so advised.
