Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to forthwith shift the retail vending liquor shop near A/m.Sri Selliamman Kovil between Keezha Ooranipuram and Mela Ooranipuram in Panikondanviduthi & Vettuvakkottai Village Panchayat, Ooranipuram, Orathanadu Taluk, Thanjavur District to any other place in accordance with law without any further delay.

2.Mr.B.Pugalenthi, learned Additional Advocate General, has taken notice for the respondents.
3.The learned Additional Advocate General has represented to the effect that due to adjudication of the general public, the authorities have already closed the TASMAC shop and now made arrangements to shift the same to some other place. 4..Considering the representation made on the side of the respondents, the relief sought in the Writ Petition has become infructuous and therefore, the same deserves to be dismissed. 5.In fine, this Writ Petition is dismissed.
