O R D E R

The prayer sought for in this writ petition is to direct the respondent to issue patta for Survey No.149/6A in favour of the petitioner, based on the petitioner's representation, dated 02.05.2017.

2.According to the petitioner, she is the absolute owner of the property comprised in Survey No.149/6A to an extent of 1 Acres 77 cents at Athanoor Village, Arasanental Group, Manamadurai Taluk, by virtue of a sale deed, dated 14.09.2016 and her vendor Rakku was holding patta for the lands in patta No.450. After the purchase of the property, the petitioner applied for transfer of patta and also sent a representation, dated 02.05.2017. Since no order was passed, the present writ petition has been filed. 3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

4.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent would submit that if the petitioner approaches the respondent by submitting proper application along with receipt for payment of charges, the respondent is ready to consider the request of the petitioner.

5.Considering the nature of the prayer sought for in this writ petition and also considering the submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to give a proper application to the respondent along with receipt for payment of fees, within a period of two weeks from the date of the receipt of the copy of this order. On such compliance by the petitioner, the respondent shall consider the application of the petitioner, purely on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks therefrom, after providing opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as the necessary parties, if any. No costs.
