ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The petitioner applied in response to the recruitment notification issued by TNPSC calling for applications from eligible candidates for Group-IV posts. The petitioner was issued with hall ticket. The petitioner was directed to write the examination in the premises of the second respondent school. The examination was held on 24.07.2022. However, in the selection list published by TNPSC, the petitioner's name was not included. According to TNPSC, the petitioner did not write the examination and she was marked as absent. Alleging that she very much attended the examination and seeking remedy, the present writ petition has been filed.

3.The petitioner wants this Court to call for CCTV records and verify the footage on the relevant date.

4.This Court ordered notice. The learned counsel for the school submitted that even though CCTV cameras have been installed in school premises, the storage period is only 30 days. The examination took place on 24.07.2022. All the footage got wiped out by 23.08.2022. Therefore, the question of verifying the footage at this point of time is impossible. 5.The learned standing counsel for TNPSC would add that they have got back the original OMR sheet pertaining to the petitioner's hall ticket. I do not find any merit in this writ petition and it stands dismissed. No costs.
