O R D E R

The Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of mandamus, directing the third respondent to implement the order of the first respondent in Na.Ka.E2/4454/2016, dated 14.07.2016.

2. Heard Mr.K.Praveen Kumar, the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.M.Alaga Thevan, the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents.

3. According to the petitioner, the Government assigned 1.26 Hectares in Thirumayam Village in favour of the petitioner and his mother Bhagarunnisha. Though the respondents issued patta in favour of the petitioner, there was no changes in the revenue records and still it reflects as Government Poramboke land. So the petitioner made representation to the respondents. However,No action was taken.

4. The petitioner would claim that the first respondent had conducted enquiry and directed the Tahsildar to change the revenue records by his proceedings in Na.Ka.E2/4454/2016. Despite the same, the third respondent has not changed in the revenue records. Hence, this Writ Petition has been filed.

5. Considering the facts of this case, and the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, this Court without going into the merits, directs the petitioner to give a fresh representation to the third respondent enclosing this order copy within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. On such receipt, the third respondent is directed to pass an order on merits and in accordance with law after providing an opportunity to the petitioner within a period of eight weeks therefrom.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
