ORDER
The petitioner has come up with the Writ Petition for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.04.2017 and direct the respondent to refund the amount of Rs.1,17,475/-, which was deposited by him for doing some public work during the period from 2009 to 2017.
2.The case of the petitioner is that he is a Third Class Contractor in the respondent / Corporation. While executing certain work, he had deposited totally a sum of Rs.1,17,475/-. Though the entire work was carried out and he was paid the bill amount, the deposits made by the petitioner are not returned and therefore, he gave a representation to the respondent on 12.04.2017. Since there is no progress, the present Writ petition is filed.

3.Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.
4.Considering the prayer sought for in the Writ petition and the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 12.04.2017 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
5.With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
