Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The petitioner wants a copy of the petition mentioned order and document. It has been held by the Hon'ble Supreme Court that cooperative societies will not fall within the purview of Right to Information Act. The relief sought for in the writ petition is virtually in the nature of seeking information. If I grant the relief now sought for, the legal position that cooperative societies are not amenable to Right to Information Act regime will be rendered https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P(MD)No.13096 of 2022 infructuous. If the petitioner feels aggrieved by some sort of illegality committed by the respondent society, it is for him to question the same in the manner known to law. 3.Leaving open the petitioner's rights, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
