Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to release the lorry of the petitioner bearing its Registration No.TN-52-V-1009, namely Ashok Leyland Multi Axle Goods Vehicle Lorry, within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER
The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to release the lorry of the petitioner bearing its Registration No.TN-52-V-1009, namely Ashok Leyland Multi Axle Goods Vehicle Lorry, within a stipulated time.
2. When the matter came up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent on instructions submitted that the respondent has passed a final order in this matter imposing penalty of Rs.43,850/- against the petitioner, vide proceedings in Na.Ka.A8/3235/2017 dated 16.06.2017 and therefore, the writ petition has become infructuous.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty to challenge the above order.

4. In view of the same, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous giving liberty to the petitioner to challenge the above said order in the manner known to law. No Costs.
