This petition has been filed to direct the respondent No.2 to send verification report of the petitioner's Passport No.U8830240 before the first respondent within a stipulated period.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Central Government Senior Panel Counsel appearing for the first respondent would submit that adverse report has been received by the second respondent stating that the petitioner is involved in Crime No.156 of 2018 on the file of the Thiruppathur Police Station for the offence punishable under Sections 120(B), 294(b), 420 and 506(ii) IPC and show cause notice has been issued to the petitioner on 20.04.2021. But, so far no reply has been received from the petitioner.

3. Since adverse report has been sent, nothing survives for further consideration in this petition. Hence, this Writ Petition stands dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
