This writ petition has been filed for a direction to forbear the 3rd respondent from interfering in the petitioner's civil dispute under the guise of enquiry on the complaint of the 4th respondent.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.

3. It appears that one Ramesh has given a complaint against the petitioner seeking police protection for laying pipes. On the said complaint, the petitioner has been directed to appear before the respondent police. The petitioner shall appear before the respondent police, but, during enquiry, the petitioner shall not https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

be harassed. If the matter is purely civil dispute, the 2nd respondent shall not take sides and refer the parties before the civil Court. If any cognizable offence is committed by either party, the third respondent is directed to take appropriate action.
