This Criminal original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 to grant Police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family members from the respondent No.4 to 10 and their hench men by considering the petitioner's representation dated 13.04.2022. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the respondents 4 to 10 have given trouble and also threatened the petitioner. Thereafter, the petitioner gave a complaint against them and the third respondent Police has registered a case in Crime No.399 of 2021, dated 2/5
04.11.2021 for the offence under Sections 147, 294(b), 323, 506(2) of IPC r/w Sections 3(1)(r), 3(1)(3), 3(2)(va) of the SC and ST (POA) Act. Again he gave several complaints and the third respondent police has issued C.S.R.Nos.51 of 2022, 68 of 2022 and 103 of 2022. Thereafter, on 13.04.2022, the petitioner has sent a detailed representation to the respondents 1 to 3. Since no action has been taken, the present Criminal Original Petition has been filed.
3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that several complaints given by the petitioner were enquired.
4.Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this court is constrained to pass a direction to the second respondent herein to consider the representation of the petitioner. Accordingly, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation given by the petitioner herein dated 13.04.2022 and pass appropriate orders on merit and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/5
5.With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
