Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to survey and fix the boundary stones in respect of the Petitioner's land in S.No.348/9, situated at Mahalambadi, Lalgudi Taluk, Trichy District on the basis of the Petitioner's representation dated 20.6.2016 within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to survey and fix the boundary stones in respect of the Petitioner's land in S.No.348/9, situated at Mahalambadi, Lalgudi Taluk, Trichy District on the basis of the Petitioner's representation dated 20.6.2016 within the time stipulated by this Court.

2.Mr.A.Muthukaruppan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents.

3.By consent of both parties, the main Writ Petition is taken up for disposal, at the admission stage itself. 4.Originally the property in S.No.348/9 measuring an extent of 770 sq.ft situated at Mahilambadi Village, Lalgudi Taluk, Trichy District was allotted to the Petitioner's father and after the death of his father, the Petitioner, his mother and his two brothers https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

become the absolute owners of the said property. Thereafter the Petitioner's mother and brothers settled their shares in the above property by way of Gift Deed in his name and hence the Petitioner became the absolute owner of the said property. Thereafter, the Petitioner has given a representation dated 20.6.2016 to the first respondent seeking to measure the above said property and to fix the four boundaries. Since the same was not considered so far, the Petitioner has come forward with the present Writ Petition for the relief stated supra.

5.Considering the limited prayer sought for in the Writ Petition and without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the respondents to consider the representation of the Petitioner, dated 20.6.2016 on merits and in accordance with law and pass suitable orders on the same, after giving notice to the Petitioner and other interested parties, if any, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order 6.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
