This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents to register the FIR on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 30.05.2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.

3. In view of the law laid down by this Court in Sugesan Transport Pvt. Ltd., v. the Assistant Commissioner of Police, J2 Adyar Police Station, Chennai and another reported in 2016(5) CTC 577, this petition is not maintainable. However, the learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that on the complaint given by the petitioner, a petition enquiry is pending with the Inspector of Police, 2nd respondent herein. Therefore, the 2nd respondent is directed to conduct an enquiry and take action in accordance with law.
