PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to conduct an enquiry and issue the petitioner a digitalized Hindu Virakodi Vellalar (OBC) Community Certificate by taking account of the petitioner's school transfer certificate, the petitioner's father's school transfer certificate in the light of the list of Backward Classes approved by the Government of Tamil Nadu / India and based on the petitioner's online application dated 06.02.2025 as well as the petitioner's representation made to the 1st respondent in register post on 14.03.2025 within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) With reference to the relief sought for in the present Writ Petition to direct the respondents to conduct an enquiry and issue Community Certificate to the petitioner, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has furnished a copy of the proceedings dated 07.06.2025 of the Revenue Tahslidar, Sankarankovil, which would reveal that the application submitted by the petitioner, seeking Community Certificate was rejected. 2.Thus, the cause did not exist and therefore, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
