Heard both sides.

2. The writ petitioner's mother died due to electrocution. On 02.07.2021, she had come in contact with the live electric wire that got snapped. On the face of it, the liability has to be fastened on the respondents.

3. The respondents are directed to pay a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- (Rupees Five Lakhs only) to the legal heirs of the deceased. This shall be done within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioners are at liberty to move the jurisdictional civil Court for seeking enhanced compensation. The time taken for prosecuting the writ petition shall be excluded for computing limitation. This writ petition stands allowed accordingly. No costs.
