Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to assign postal code of Madurai District to the petitioner's Village namely Keela Vadakkoor and other Villages, namely, Angadimangalam, Thirumanampathi and Mela Vadakkoor or to direct the respondents to merge the above villages to Sakkudi Postal jurisdiction so as to enable the villagers to continue their nativity status in Madurai District.

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents to assign postal code of Madurai District to the village of the petitioner by name Keela Vadakkoor, by way of issuing a writ of mandamus. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
2.Mrs.S.Srimathy, learned counsel, has taken notice for the respondents.
3.It is seen from the records that on 27.12.2016, the petitioner has given a representation for the purpose mentioned in the petition and the same has not been considered. 4.Considering the aforesaid factual circumstances, the following order can be passed.
5.In fine, this writ petition is allowed without costs and the respondents are strictly directed to look into the representation dated 27.12.2016 and dispose of the same within a period of one month.
