This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the 1st and 2nd respondents to direct the respondents to grant parole leave for a period of one month without escort to the petitioner's husband namely Ulaganathar, son of Aathimoolapandian (C.P. No.2644) confined at Central Prison, Palayamkottai, Tirunelveli, considering the petitioner's representation dated 12.05.2017.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents 1 and 2.

3. It is seen that the Additional Director General of Prison has sent a communication dated 17.05.2017 to the Superintendent of Prisons, Palayamkottai, to consider the representation dated 12.05.2017.

In view of the above, the Superintendent of Prison, Palayamkottai, is directed to follow the directions of the Additional Director General of Prisons, and consider the representation of the petitioner dated 12.05.2017 in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
