Writ Petition, filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to vacate and handover the petitioners lands bearing Sy.Nos. 108A, 109B/1, 119, 120/1, 120/2A, 120/3A, 121A/1, 123B/1, 124/1A1 and 124/1B1 situated at Alangaraperi Village, Tirunelveli Taluk and District considering the representation given by the petitioner dated 17.02.2024.

When the writ petition was taken up for hearing, the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the writ petition was filed seeking compensation and the compensation has been disbursed. Therefore, he sought the permission of this Court to withdraw the writ petition and has also made an endoresement to that effect. 2.Based on the letter, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs. However, the petitioner is at liberty to seek enhancement of compensation by initiating separate writ petition.
