..Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to issue patta in favour of the petitioner with respect to the property comprised in Survey No.G.R.141/23 situated at Door No.3/56, Anna Nagar Colony, Natham Village, Kamuthi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District in accordance with law in the light of the 2nd respondent proceedings made in O.Mu. (A3)/7373/2010 dated 10.03.2011 and proceedings of the 4th respondent made in Na.Ka.Aa. 151/2011 dated 24.08.2011 and on the basis of petitioner's representations dated 23.09.2013 and 13.02.2023 within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER
This writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to issue patta in favour of the petitioner in respect of the property comprised in Survey No.G.R.141/23 located at Door No.3/56, Anna Nagar Colony, Natham Village, Kamuthi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 13.02.2023.
2. Heard the arguments of Mr.V.Palpandi, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.A.Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents.
3. According to the petitioner, the above-mentioned property was originally assigned in favour of one Kilavan, son of Muniyan. The petitioner purchased the property under an unregistered document from the said Kilavan on 01.05.1989. The petitioner is a poor person, belonging to a weaker section of society, and hence, eligible for the assignment of a free house site patta. The 4th respondent, in proceedings Na.Ka.Aa.151/2011 dated 24.08.2011, had recommended the grant of patta in favour of the 2/5
petitioner. Based on the same, the petitioner submitted a representation on 13.02.2023 before the second respondent, which has not yet been considered. Hence, the petitioner has approached this Court.
4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents submitted that the petitioner's representation will be considered in accordance with law.

In view of the submissions made, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.02.2023 and pass final orders on its own merits, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and other interested parties.
6. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. .
