Respondent PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to measure the petitioner's property comprised in S.F.No.78/9 natham 0.03.0 ares by Kallakottai Village, Gandarvakottai Taluk, Pudukkottai District, within a reasonable time to be fixed by this Court.

By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner seeks a writ of Mandamus to consider his representation dated 03.05.2017 seeking to measure his property and demarcate the same. The petitioner has also filed a copy of the patta issued to him.

3. Considering the limited relief sought for and the facts narrated above, without going into the merits, there will be a direction to the respondent to consider the request of the petitioner dated 03.05.2017 and pass appropriate orders within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Needless to say, the respondent shall also issue notice to any other person who is shown to be interested or whose name appears in the revenue records and hear them before passing any order.
