the 3rd respondent to conduct proper investigation in an expeditious manner and to file the final report within the stipulated period as prescribed by this Hon'ble Court.

ORDER
The Criminal Original Petition has been filed to transfer the investigation in Crime No. 5 of 2020 from the file of the 6th respondent to 3rd respondent and consequently direct the 3rd respondent to conduct proper investigation in an expeditious manner and to file the final report within the stipulated period as prescribed by this Court.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that investigation has been completed and Final Report was also filed before the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Kovilpatti, it was taken on file in C.C No.223 of 2022.
3.Since the matter has been pending for committal, at this stage, transfer of investigation may not arise and the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
