This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to forbear the respondent Nos.1 to 5 from laying a black-top road through the petitioner's patta land comprised in Ayan Punja Survey No.929/2, Vannikonendal Village, Manoor Taluk, Tirunelveli District. 2/6

The grievance of the petitioner is that the respondents have proposed to lay a black-top road through her patta lands in Survey Nos.929/2 and 928/4, despite the availability of an alternative access through the Vannikonendal Village main road. In this regard, the petitioner had submitted representations to respondent Nos.1, 2, 3, 4 and
8. Since no has been taken by the respondents till date, the petitioner has filed this present writ petition.
3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 5 submits that the respondents have not proposed to lay any road in the petitioner's patta land. It is further submitted that the proposed road work pertains only to the Government Poramboke lands situated in Survey Nos.927 and 937.
4. In view of the above categorical submission made on behalf of the respondents that the road is being laid only in the Government Poramboke lands and not in the petitioner's patta land, this Court is of the considered view that the writ petition does not warrant any interference.

5. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. However, if the petitioner entertains any grievance regarding the boundaries or encroachment over his patta land, it is open to her to approach the jurisdictional Surveyor for measurement of her property and work out her remedy in accordance with law. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
