: Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to dispose the petitioner's pending appeal before the second respondent seeking against cancellation Succession Certificate in Na.Ka.No.Aa1/3839/2015(A2) in Ni.Mu.No.07543/2012(A2), dated 09.02.2016, giving opportunity to all the parties concerned within the time stipulated by this Court.

2.The grievance of the petitioner is that aggrieved over the orders passed by the third respondent, the petitioner preferred an appeal before the second respondent on 26.12.2016, but there was no progress for the past seven months.

3.Heard Mr.V.Murugan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.G.Muthukannan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

4.In the light of the above facts, this Court without going into the merits of the matter, directs the second respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner, dated 22.06.2017, on merits and in accordance with law, after providing necessary opportunities to all the parties, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
