O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to complete the investigation and to file final report in Crime No.47 of 2017 pending on the file of the respondent police within a time stipulated by this Court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the defacto complainant in the abovesaid case and the case was registered for the offences under Sections 415, 420, 465, 467, 468, 471 IPC on 05.10.2017. Even after laps of 4 years investigation has not been completed and no final report is filed so far. Hence, this petition.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would further submit that till now the statement of the petitioner has not been recorded by the Enquiry Officer.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that within 4 months the respondent will complete the investigation and file a final report.

5. Recording the undertaking given by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, there shall be a direction to the respondent to complete the investigation and file the final report within a period of 4 months from the date of receipt a copy of this orders. Crl.O.P.(MD)No.10457 of 2021 shall be sent to the Registry.

6. With the above direction, this petition is disposed of.
