The petitioner seeks for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to reinstatement the petitioner based on the request made by the 2nd respondent in letter dated 28.02.2014. 2.The learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the 1st respondent and the learned Government Advocate takes notice for the 2nd respondent.

3.By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

4.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if the representation of the petitioner is disposed of, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5.In view of the limited scope of the prayer, without going into the merits of the matter, 1st respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 04.10.2016 based on the letter dated 28.02.2014 sent by the 2nd respondent and on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
