The petitioner has come up with the present Writ Petition for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.06.2017 ie to measure his land in S.No.325/3B1 in to the extent of 11 cents at Therku Ilanthakulam Village, Kayatharu, Kovilpatti Taluk, Tuticorin District.

2.According to the petitioner, he purchased 11 cents Survey No.325/3B1 situated at Therku Ilanthakulam 1st Village, Tuticorin District by a registered sale deed dated 29.01.2007 in document No.138/07. The petitioner would state that he approached the 2nd respondent and also paid necessary fee on 02.06.2017 to measure his land referred above. and he submitted a representation on the same day prescribed also submitted. Since no action was taken, the present Writ Petition was filed.

3.Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

4.Considering the prayer sought for the Writ Petition, this Court without going to the merits of the case, direct the second respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 02.06.2017 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law after providing necessary opportunity to the parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
