ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The petitioner seeks renewal of his passport. The petitioner is however figuring as an accused in S.T.C. No.4588 of 2022 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.IV, Madurai. Therefore, the petitioner has to necessarily move the trial Magistrate. The petitioner is a business man. 3.It appears to be a case of an industrial accident. Therefore, pendency of a case need not come in the way of granting the relief. I permit the petitioner to file an Miscellaneous Petition before the learned trial Magistrate. The same shall be numbered immediately and the learned trial Magistrate is requested to allow the petitioner's application. Thereupon, the first respondent well process the petition mentioned application and also renew the petitioner's passport as expeditiously as possible.

4.With this liberty to the petitioner and direction to the learned trial Magistrate as well as the first respondent, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
