ORDER

The petitioner seeks issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the Tahsildar to dispose of his representation, dated 16.01.2025. However, when the writ petition is taken up for admission, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that in respect of Natham lands, the Sub Collector, Paramakudi is the competent authority and the Tahsildar's report would have to be forwarded to the Sub Collector, Paramakudi.

2. Considering that the petitioner has made an application on 16.01.2025 to the Tahsildar, Paramakudi, the second respondent shall conduct due enquiry and forward the report to the Sub Collector, Paramakudi, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, who shall thereafter conduct necessary enquiry and hear the petitioner and any other interested parties and pass final orders, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
