ORDER

Writ Petition is filed seeking to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records relating to the impugned order passed by the 1st respondent vide his proceedings G.O.(D).No.144 dated 21.09.2020 and

quash the same as illegal and consequently to direct the respondents to publish the seniority list of Principal Grade II taking into consideration of the marks secured by the respective candidates in the examination conducted in pursuant to the notification No.1/95 and then proceed with the promotion to the post of Principal Grade I on the basis of the seniority list prepared in term of the merits of the respective candidates within the period.

2. when the matter came up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is no more and he expired on 21.12.2022 and the legal heirs of the deceased petitioner have not come forward to pursue the Writ Petition. Hence, this Writ Petition is dismissed as abated. There shall be no order as to costs.
