2. On instructions, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the detenu, who is a 3rd year law student and aged about 23 years, has eloped with a person of her choice and she is living with him at Puducherry and also in continuous touch with her parents.

3. When the above facts were brought to the knowledge of the learned counsel for the petitioner, he sought permission of this Court to withdraw the habeas corpus petition and made an endorsement to that effect.
