Respondents PRAYER:Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner, dated 02.05.2017 and 03.06.2017 for posting him as Headmaster incharge in the E.R.Higher Secondary School, Trichy-2, within a time frame fixed by this Court.

O R D E R

This Writ petition has been filed by the petitioner for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner, dated 02.05.2017 and 03.06.2017 for posting him as Headmaster in-charge in the E.R.Higher Secondary School, Trichy - 2 within a time frame fixed by this Court.

2. Heard, Mr.B.Saravanan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the Writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

Having regard to the limited scope of the prayer in the Writ petition, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's case, this Court is inclined to issue the following direction:- "The second respondent is directed to consider the representations of the petitioner, dated 02.05.2017 and 03.06.2017, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
