*********** [Order of the Court was made by K.K.SASIDHARAN, J.] The petitioner filed this Writ Petition to restrain the respondents from opening a new TASMAC Retail Shop at Govindan Nagar Colony, Krishnan Koil Street, Srivilliputhur Town, Virudhunagar District.

2. The counter affidavit filed by the District Manager, TASMAC Limited, Virudhunagar, indicates that the District Collector, vide proceedings dated 10.07.2017, rejected the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

proposal for opening the liquor shop at Govindan Nagar Colony, Krishnan Koil Street, Srivilliputhur Town, Virudhunagar District.

3. In view of the decision taken by the District Collector not to open the liquor shop at Govindan Nagar Colony, Krishnan Koil Street, Srivilliputhur Town, Virudhunagar District, nothing survives for adjudication in this Writ Petition.

4. The Writ Petition is dismissed with the above observation. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
