O R D E R

(Order of the Court by T.S.SIVAGNANAM, J.,) The petitioner claiming himself to be a public interest litigant is before this Court for a direction to the respondents to take appropriate action on his representation, dated 20.05.2017 and close down the TASMAC Shop bearing No.8629, situated in Surulipatti Village, Uthamapalayam Taluk, Theni District.

2. In the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition, the petitioner has not disclosed as to when the shop was established. In this regard, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the shop was recently located in that area. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. In any event there is no averment with regard to

infringement of distant rules. Thus, we are not inclined to issue any positive direction in this writ petition. However, the petitioner is permitted to pursue his remedy before the District Collector concerned, who shall consider the same in accordance with law.

4. With the above directions, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
