ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent Police, in connection with a case in Crime No.15 of 2024, for the offence punishable under Sections 406, 420, 120(B), 294(b) and 506(ii) IPC, have filed this petition seeking anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the defacto complainant and the petitioners have entered inta a partnership agreement and establised BPCL Gas Agency at Theni. However, the petitioners have refused to pay the profit share to the defacto complainant. Hence the case.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the parties have not entered into any agreement. He further submits that the petitioners are innocent persons and they have not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners. 4.The learned Senior Counsel appearing for the intervenor submits that the defacto complainant has registered the agreement at the State of Kerala. 2/4

5.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent Police submits that initially there was an oral agreement between the parties. But after some time, the parties have registered the agreement, which has been entered between them.

6. Considering the stage of investigation and the nature of offence, this Court is not inclined to grant any relief to the petitioners. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
