O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed, seeking to direct the Respondents not to interfere with the day today affairs of the petitioner club, namely, Ezhil Recreation Club, having office at 5/1, Santhosam Nagar, Pudukusavankundu Salai, Avaniyapuram, Madurai and permit the petitioners to avail the facilities provided for playing rummy.

2. Learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that the petitioner is now only putting up the recreation club and even before the club starts commencing its activities, they have filed the present writ petition, anticipating that the Police are likely to harass them.

3. In view of the above submission, this petition is dismissed with an observation that if the club resorts to any illegal activities, it is always open to the respondent police to take appropriate action against its members. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
