O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the first respondent to withdraw the case in Crime No.161 of 2022 on the file of the second respondent and entrust the same to any other officer not below the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police for investigation based on the petitioner's representation dated 15.06.2022. 2.When the matter was taken up for hearing the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that initially the case was registered in Crime No.161 of 2022 for the offences under Section 363 of IPC. After investigation, the offence was altered into Sections 366(A), 354(D)(1)(i) IPC and Sections 7 & 8 of POCSO Act. Hence, he seeks one month time to complete the investigation and file a final report.

3.Recording the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), the second respondent police is hereby directed to complete the investigation and file a final report within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

4.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
