Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The petitioner was suspended from service vide order dated 23.02.2023. He seeks revocation of the suspension order. The respondent has filed counter affidavit and also typed set of papers. The learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondent took me through its contents. It is strongly submitted that the petitioner by his conduct had disturbed an official function which was conducted on 25.01.2023 in the presence of the District Collector. I do not want to go into those aspects. I also decline to set aside the suspension order. 3.The only question that calls for consideration is whether suspension should continue. More than four months have elapsed since the suspension order was passed. The petitioner is also ready to sign in the letter to be drafted by the college Principal, Government Arts and Science College, Karur.

The letter to be drafted by the college Principal will indicate that the petitioner is unconditionally apologizing for his conduct and shall contain an undertaking with regard to his good behavior in future.

the petitioner will not cast any cloud on the disciplinary proceedings or in the criminal case. If the petitioner signs on the dotted lines as indicated above, the respondent shall revoke the suspension order. 4.This writ petition is disposed of with the aforesaid direction. No costs.
