This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction, to direct the second respondent police to file a final report in Crime No.23 of 2021, dated 23.10.2021 within the time framed by this Court.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents seeks two months time to complete the investigation and file a final report.

3. Recording the same, the Second respondent/ the Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch, Madurai, is hereby directed to complete the investigation and file a final report within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order before the jurisdictional Magistrate.
