O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Kamuthi to expedite the trial pending in the STC.No.290 of 2023 and complete the same within the stipulated time as framed by this Court.

2.According to the petitioner, based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner before the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Kamuthi in S.T.C.No.290 of 2023 and thereafter, the case is still pending without any progress. Hence this petition.

3.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this petition, this Court, without even issuing notice to the private respondent, is inclined to pass order.

4.Considering the prayer sought for in this petitioner and also considering that the case is pending from the year 2023, the trial Court is directed to expedite the trial proceedings in S.T.C.No.290 of 2023 and dispose of the same, as early as possible without granting long 2/4

adjournment beyond one week.

5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
