(This writ petition is heard through video conference) This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to grant permission and protection for Kabadi Tournament scheduled to be held on 07.08.2021 2.00 p.m. to 10.00 p.m. and 08.08.2021 7.00 p.m. to 12.30 p.m. in connection with "Kabadi Competitoin" at Saruguvalayapatti Village, Melur Taluk, Madurai District.

2.The prayer sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous in view of the Government Order passed by the Government to contain the Covid - 19 Pandemic situation. 3.The petitioner is at liberty to make fresh representation after easing of the situation.
