ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner is in judicial custody since 01.10.2018 for the offences punishable under Sections 323, 366 and 506(i) of IPC, in Crime No.602 of 2018 on the file of the respondent police. He seeks bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with three others assaulted the daughter of the defacto complainant and kidnapped her and threatened with dire consequences. Hence, the complaint.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has nothing to do with the alleged crime. Hence, he prays for grant of bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the accused with other persons have kidnapped the daughter of the victim gril and that the investigation is pending. Hence, he vehemently opposed for grant of bail.

5.Considering the above facts and circumstances and that the girl has been secured and also considering the period of incarceration of the petitioner, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail subject to the following conditions: (i) the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) with two sureties, each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Melur (ii)the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m. for a period of two weeks and thereafter as and when required for interrogation.
