Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation dated 08.01.2020.

ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition, seeking a direction to direct the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 08.01.2020. 2.By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3.Mr.K.P.Krishnadoss, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 2 and 3. Since no adverse order is going to be passed against the respondents 1 and 4, notice to the respondents 1 and 4 is dispensed with. 4.The petitioner has studied B.Sc., Computer Science, MCA from Bharathidasan University and Ph.D., in Educational Technology from the fourth respondent herein. Since the petitioner has approached the fourth respondent, seeking Equivalent Certificate, the fourth respondent did not give any reply. Hence, the petitioner has made a representation dated 04.08.2019 to the first respondent. The first respondent had directed the fourth respondent to look into the issue, vide order dated 06.11.2019. However, the fourth respondent did not take any steps to consider the same.

Thereafter, the petitioner has made a representation dated 08.01.2020 to the third respondent to direct the fourth respondent to take immediate steps to issue Equivalent Certificate to the petitioner. So far, no action has been taken on the representation of the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition, seeking aforesaid prayer.

5.In view of the above, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 08.01.2020 and take a decision on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of forty five (45) days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With this direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
