The present Criminal Original Petition is listed under the caption "for maintainability" on the sole ground that a copy of the FIR has not been enclosed in the typed set of papers.

2. Today a copy of the FIR is produced by the learned counsel appearing for the second respondent, therefore, the objection raised by the Registry stands overruled.

3. The present petition has been filed by the accused persons in Crime No.213 of 2026 on the file of the second respondent seeking a direction to the trial Court to consider the bail application on the same date of surrender.

4. A perusal of the averments revealed that the petitioners herein are arrayed as A1 to A3 in Crime No.213 of 2026 on the file of the second respondent police station for the alleged offence under Sections 296(b), 15(2), 351(2) of BNS, Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Woman (Amendment) Act, 2002, and Section 3(1)(r) and 3(1)(s) of the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989.

5. The learned Special Judge for trial of cases under SC/ST (POA) Act, Dindigul is directed to accept the surrender of the petitioners herein and consider the bail application on the same day of their surrender in Crime No.213 of 2026, after giving due opportunity to the 3/5

defacto complainant. The petitioners are directed to surrender on or before 05.05.2026.
