PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 27.03.2017 for allotting shops along the beach road from paid toilet to Tamilannai Park in Kanyakumari.

O R D E R

This present petition is filed for issuance of writ of mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 27.03.2017 for allotment of shops along the beach road.

2.By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal in the admission stage itself.

3.Mr.D.Muruganandham, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2 and Mr.Ayiram K.Selvakumar, learned counsel takes notice for the third respondent.

4.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice, the first respondent considers the representation of the petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law.

5.Considering the prayer sought for in the writ petition and the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court without going into the merits of this case, directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 27.03.2017 on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
