PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the respondent to give permission to the petitioner for renovation and repairing of petitioner's house bearing old Door.No.24 and New Door No.40, situated at Vellaiyapuram Street, Periyapuliyampatti, Aruppukkottai Town, Virudhunagar District by considering petitioner's representation, dated 07.06.2017. This present petition is filed for issuance of writ of mandamus, directing the first respondent to permit the petitioner to renovate and repair his house bearing old Door No.24 and New Door No.40, situated at Vellaiyapuram Street, Periyapuliyampatti, Aruppukkottai Town, Virudhunagar District based on the petitioner's representation, dated 07.06.2017. 2.By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal in the admission stage.
3.Heard Mr.R.Murugappan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.N.Dilipkumar, learned counsel for the respondent and also perused the records and the photographs showing condition of the building.
4.The grievance of the petitioner is that his house bearing new door No.40, situated at Vellaiyapuram Street in Aruppukkottai town got damaged and it requires renovation and repairing. He submitted a representation to the respondent, dated 07.06.2017. But, it was not considered so far.

5.The learned counsel for the respondent, on instructions, would submit that, so far the petitioner has not submitted a proper application. If any application is submitted as per law, the respondent is ready to consider the same and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law.
6.In the light of the above submissions and the facts of this case, this writ petition is disposed of directing the petitioner to submit an application to the respondent for repairing and renovating his house within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On such receipt, the respondent shall consider the same sympathetically and pass orders as expeditiously as possible preferably with in a period of six weeks therefrom. No costs.
