ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under sections 8(c) and 20(b)(ii)(B) of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, in Crime No.140 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that on receiving the secret information, on 23.07.2021 at about 06.00 pm the respondent police conducted inspection near Nadupatti bus stop and on seeing the police, the accused person fled away and the respondent police caught him and recovered 1.600 Kg of Ganja with seeds. Hence, the complaint.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the petitioner is having two previous cases similar in nature. 5.Considering the allegation made against the petitioner and the fact that the petitioner is having previous cases, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. The Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
