This writ petition has been filed for directing the respondents to grant permission to perform the program of Adal Padal Program on 24.05.2023 night at about 06.00 PM to 11.00 PM at Karaiyur Street, Arulmigu Sri Sandhana Mariyamman Kovil Temple, Athirampattinam, Pattukottai Taluk, Thanjavur District and to provide adequate police protection based on petitioner's representation dated 12.05.2023.
2. Heard the learned counsel on either side.
3. The learned Government Advocate submitted that permission has been granted in similar writ petitions for conducting Adal Padal programme in the very same temple.
4. Recording the said submission, this writ petition stands closed. No costs.
